The Challenge
Forma Construction reached out and selected us to fabricate and install handrails necessary to comply with ADA rules on a DOH building. The building needed ramps and handrail to get into compliance and had neither. The job was a State gig and required prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll.
The Solution
We worked with Forma the day they poured concrete and we placed pockets for the handrails to fit. We custom made 8 separate handrails for 4 separate ramps on the emergency escapes of the customer’s building in 3 weeks time. We had the handrails powder coated white per the customer’s specifications. The completed rails were delivered via flatbed and installed by Aalbu Brothers. The handrails fit all ADA requirements and exceeded the customer’s expectations.
